These low-fat carbohydrates, Quito Rolls are free of flour and are the perfect alternative to traditional sandwiches for sandwiches, burgers or even personal pizza!
Ingredients
- 4 cups mozzarella cheese shredded (408g)
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 1 cup coconut flour (119g)
- 1 teaspoon baking powder* or 1 tbsp see note
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 eggs beaten
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
- Add mozzarella cheese and cream in a microwave bowl.
- Microwave 2 minutes.
- Move up combined.
- Beat flour, baking powder and dried spices together.
- Add the eggs to the dried spices and stir them until they are added.
- Add this mixture to the cheese and continue stirring until it is absorbed.
- Spray baking paper with olive oil cooking spray.
- Wet hands and separate dough and form 12 rolls.
- If you wish, adjust something or make it smaller and smaller as my pictures appear.
- Place on bread sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
- Then cool in half.
- Enjoy immediately or cool or freeze. See comments above video for freezing.
